"Dian" in the title of tea refers to the ancient state of Dian, which was located on the modern territory of the Chinese province of Yunnan, where the production of Dian Hong tea is concentrated in our time. The motherland of this tea is Fengqing County, tea bushes here grow strong and fragrant because of the favorable climatic conditions. Strong tea from young leaves is considered to be one of the most delicate and expensive varieties of Dian Hong. Its original taste and appearance make it a beverage for a special mood.
The procedure of folding the fleecy buds into neat curls was initially manual and took a lot of time. Now there are devices that help to twist the tea mechanically. However, tea of the highest category is still made by hand. A distinctive feature of red teas from these places is a high biological potential.
