Tea in a mandarin or lime is a relatively new experiment by tea producers, and is very successful. In the process of drying tea leaves are saturated with the essential oils of a citrus fruit, absorbing its useful properties, amazing aroma and taste. The result is a fragrant and healthy drink that perfectly quenches the thirst and gives the body an additional source of energy. The picking of raw materials occurs in winter when mandarins are ripen.
The process of production for such tea is very laborious: in slightly dried citrus fruits, from which the pulp was previously taken out, processed tea leaves are placed. The tea is then heated in an oven and stored for a few months in a warehouse. The most common type of this tea, the filled citrus, is Pu'er. White, red tea and oolong teas are also used. The acidity of the the citrus perfectly complements the taste of the teas, so that together they create a unique bouquet.
