One of the varieties of hibiscus, also known as the Sudanese rose. The Karkade beverage is pleasant to drink both chilled, and immediately after brewing. Moreover, depending on the temperature of the drink, the taste can be perceived quite differently. The effect this tea has on the body at different temperatures can vary: a cold drink lowers blood pressure, while hot, on the contrary, increases it.
Karkade tea has a bright ruby color and rich fruity aroma. Due to its composition – rich in various nutrients (such as fruit acids, B vitamins, antioxidants) – karkade is considered a "drink to cure all diseases" in many countries. Regular use of Sudanese rose tea strengthens the immune system and improves the overall health of a person.
