Golden water turtle In the old times a Golden turtle lived in the Heaven. One day she heard loud cries, coming from Earth. The turtle becate curious what it was and descended lower. It turned out that the peasants were celebrating harvest festival and undertook different rituals to produce a good tea from this harvest. The turtle got amazed that the tea is so much favoured on earth, and she wanted to gain the same glory, for this reason the turtle turned into a tea bush.
This tea is another representative of "The four famous Wuyishan bushes"the oldest garden with these bushes is located in the district of Nulan close to the pick of Langou. Shui Jin Gui is one of the few Oolongs, that is not produced beyond the cliff region. The standard processing stages are common for all the Wuyishan oolongs, but due to the specificity of the leaf – it's thick and heavy, - it maily undergoes strong warming up. After strong warming up the tea becomes coffee-coloured and mineral, and after medium warming up floral , confectionary and spicy notes dominate in the taste.
